A technical overview of WAIFU, the Solana SPL token behind WaifuCash: AI anime art, likes that burn, NFT graduation and sale royalties. Web edition v2.3, updated 8 Nov 2026.
WaifuCoin (WAIFU) is a Solana SPL utility token and the currency of WaifuCash, a small platform where people generate AI anime art, publish it to a shared gallery and vote on it with likes that cost WAIFU. Every like burns 70 percent of its cost and credits 30 percent to that artwork's royalty pool, so attention in the gallery permanently removes supply.
The loop is called Like to Chain. Pieces that gather enough weighted likes climb through dynamic rarity tiers, and standout pieces can be minted as real Solana NFTs with Metaplex metadata. When a piece sells on the in platform marketplace, 98 percent goes to the seller and 0.667 percent of the price is paid to the people who liked it, weighted by how early and how strongly they backed it. Around this core sit an AI Studio with two anime models, quests, staking, a gold paired liquidity pool, a client side NFT mint tool, deposits and withdrawals, a Telegram bot, phone verification and 21 languages.
WaifuCash is early and small: 16 gallery pieces, 191 token holders and about 4,500 USD of pooled liquidity on 1 Nov 2026. What it has is verifiable: mint and freeze authority are disabled, 97M WAIFU (9.7 percent of genesis) has been burned on chain, 423M WAIFU sits in Jupiter Lock escrows with public schedules, and the LP tokens of all three Raydium pools are burned. This whitepaper describes the mechanics as they run today and marks every planned item as planned.
Anime fan communities already produce and share enormous amounts of art, but the people who curate it, the ones who spot a good piece early and push it to others, earn nothing for that work. WaifuCash was built around a simple idea: make curation cost something, so that it means something, and give curators a share of what they help create.
WAIFU is designed to be spent, not only held. Every action on the platform is priced in USD and converted to WAIFU at the live price: publishing a piece, liking it, upscaling it, minting it on chain, selling it on the marketplace. A fixed share of those fees is burned every week, so platform usage and supply reduction are the same flow. Nothing here depends on a transfer tax: classic SPL tokens cannot have one, and WAIFU has none.
The gallery and its Like to Chain loop are the primary mechanism and the subject of section 03. The earlier games of chance, Pack Opening and Waifu Rush, were retired on 8 Nov 2026.
Like to Chain is the mechanism that connects creating, curating, burning and earning. A like is not a free click: it costs WAIFU, most of that WAIFU is destroyed, and the rest becomes a claim on the artwork's future sales. Here is how the loop works, step by step, as implemented on 1 Nov 2026:
A gallery like costs 0.00003 USD, converted to WAIFU at the live price (about 5.5 WAIFU at 0.0000055 USD). 70 percent of that amount is burned and 30 percent is credited to the royalty pool of the piece that was liked. Each user has 2 votes per day; a dislike is free and only lowers the score. Sharing a piece on X grants one free vote worth 5 weight per piece. Publishing a piece costs 0.10 USD (to treasury, not burned) and an upscale costs 0.01 USD.
A vote's weight is the sum of three parts: holder weight (1.0 base, 2.0 with 10,000 or more WAIFU on chain, 3.0 with 100,000 or more), streak weight (1.5 after 7 days, 2.0 after 14, 3.0 after 30) and quest level weight (0.5 at level 5 up to 3.0 at level 30), capped at 9. Backing a piece early earns a larger share of its royalty pool: the first 100 likes on a piece get share weight 3.0, likes 101 to 500 get 2.0, later likes get 1.0.
Like burns, mint burns, marketplace burns, challenge burns and award votes accrue in a ledger and are settled every Sunday at 20:00 UTC together with the base program burn of 2,500,000 WAIFU, capped at 5,000,000 per week, using the SPL burn instruction from the burn reserve wallet. The supply really drops: 1,000,000,000 at genesis, about 903M on 1 Nov 2026. Section 07 lists the record.
When a piece sells on the marketplace, 98 percent of the price goes to the seller. The 2.001 percent fee is split in three equal parts of 0.667 percent: treasury, burn, and royalty to the people who liked that piece, divided by share weight. Royalties are paid by a scheduled job to in platform WAIFU balances, which are withdrawable; 66 distributions totalling 222,693 WAIFU have run so far. There is no separate creator royalty on resales today: a creator earns 98 percent when selling their own piece and earns as a liker only if they also liked. A 5 percent royalty split between creator and likers is a Phase 4 plan.
A piece's net weighted score moves it from Unranked to Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The thresholds are not fixed: the base values of 90, 450, 1,350 and 4,500 are scaled by peak concurrent users divided by 234, so tiers stay meaningful as the user base grows or shrinks. On 1 Nov 2026 the gallery holds 16 pieces: 13 Common, 3 Unranked, none Rare or higher yet.
A gallery piece can be minted on chain as a Metaplex NFT. The fee is 0.03 USD in WAIFU, burned in full, plus 0.01 SOL for network costs, and the minted token carries the piece's metadata. No gallery piece has been minted on chain yet; the first graduations, together with public marketplace listings, are the Phase 4 milestone. The standalone mint tool (section 06) already lets anyone mint a 1/1 NFT from their own image.
The loop closes like this: creating costs a little, curating costs a little and burns most of it, good curation earns a share of real sales, and every step reduces supply and leaves a transaction that anyone can check.

WAIFU is a classic SPL token (Token Program) with 9 decimals. The mint authority is disabled, so no new WAIFU can ever be created, and the freeze authority is disabled, so no account can be frozen. A classic SPL token cannot carry a transfer tax, and WAIFU has none. All of this can be checked on Solscan, RugCheck or the Jupiter token API using the mint address above.
The genesis supply of 1,000,000,000 WAIFU was split as follows. Six allocations, 841M in total (84.1 percent), were deposited into Jupiter Lock escrows with public unlock schedules; the figures below are the initial deposits.
The remaining about 159M WAIFU (15.9 percent) was never escrowed: it seeded the first Raydium pools and launch operations, and 26.4M of the genesis supply was burned by the team and community between Sep 2025 and Jan 2026, before the weekly program started.
Live escrow balances and claimed amounts are shown on the Tokenomics page and can be checked on Jupiter Lock and Solscan at any time. Claimed means released to the recipient wallet, not sold. Section 08 lists each escrow account.
Everything in this section is live on waifucash.com on 1 Nov 2026 unless it says otherwise. The gallery and its Like to Chain loop come first because they are the core; the rest supports it or sits beside it.
The gallery is the public feed of AI generated anime pieces with Trending, Rising, Fresh and Top views, share links with OpenGraph previews, an XP leaderboard and dynamic rarity tiers. Likes cost WAIFU, burn 70 percent of it and buy a share of the piece's royalty pool; dislikes are free. Section 03 explains the full loop. Status on 1 Nov 2026: 16 pieces, 7,630 likes recorded, 5,453 like shares, 614 AI generations, 214 marketplace sales. The gallery is on the web only; it is not in the mobile app yet.
/gallery.html · 03 Why Likes Burn
Like 0.00003 USD in WAIFU, 70 percent burned, 30 percent to the piece's royalty pool. 2 votes per user per day. Share weight 3x for the first 100 likes on a piece, 2x for likes 101 to 500, then 1x. Marketplace fee 2.001 percent, of which 0.667 percent goes to the likers of the sold piece. On chain mint 0.03 USD in WAIFU, burned in full, plus 0.01 SOL.
Generate anime art from a prompt with two anime models (Animagine XL and Pony). Every account gets free daily generations that scale with quest level; publishing a piece (0.10 USD) and upscaling it (0.01 USD) are priced in USD and paid in WAIFU from the in platform balance.
List and sell pieces for WAIFU inside the platform. The seller keeps 98 percent. The 2.001 percent fee is split in three equal parts of 0.667 percent: treasury, burn, and royalty to the likers of that piece. 214 sales had been recorded by 1 Nov 2026. Royalties are paid to in platform balances by a scheduled job; on chain royalty enforcement is Phase 4.
Live today: Daily Check in (15 WAIFU), Daily Telegram (3), Daily Social Share (22), Holder Milestone (120, needs 10,000 WAIFU on chain), First NFT Mint (90) and Invite a Friend (75), plus two one time bonuses: 10,000 WAIFU for the first quest (vesting over 30 days) and 5,000 for phone verification. Every quest level adds 2 percent to rewards, up to +100 percent. Marked coming soon on the quest page: Daily AI Image, DexScreener Boost, the three weekly quests, Staker, Diamond Hands and OG Collector.
In platform staking of deposited WAIFU, not an on chain contract. Four lock periods: 7 days at 5 percent APY, 30 days at 8 percent, 90 days at 12 percent and 180 days at 20 percent. Minimum 100,000 WAIFU per position, up to 10 positions per account. Rewards are credited to the in platform balance.
A Raydium pool that pairs WAIFU with XAUt0 (Tether Gold, tokenized gold). Its LP tokens are 100 percent burned, so the pooled gold and WAIFU can never be withdrawn by anyone, but traders can still move either side by swapping. WAIFU is not backed by gold and is not redeemable for gold; the pool is a price venue, nothing more. Live figures are on the Gold page.
A standalone, client side tool (mint.php) that mints a 1/1 Metaplex NFT from an image you upload. You sign the transaction in Phantom and pay only the Solana network fees; the platform never holds the NFT. This is separate from gallery graduation.
On chain WAIFU deposits are credited to an in platform balance for instant actions. Withdrawals send WAIFU back to your Solana wallet as a normal on chain transaction, so standard network fees apply. Deposited balances carry no wagering requirement; promotional bonus balances become withdrawable only after the published bonus terms are met.
The @WaifuVerifyBot provides Telegram based account verification, balance checks, quest status and community notifications, linked to the same account as the website.
SMS based phone verification with an 8 layer anti bot guard: VoIP detection, carrier validation, country filtering, rate limiting, device fingerprinting and a blocklist of 82 disposable number providers that is crawled regularly. Verifying a phone grants a one time 5,000 WAIFU quest bonus.
The site is translated into 21 languages including English, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Arabic, Hindi and Portuguese. Translations are applied in the browser; where a string is missing the English text is shown.
Every account has an invite code and the Invite a Friend quest is live, but inviter and invitee referral bonuses have been paused since 4 Jul 2026. Referral rewards are not currently paid; this page will be updated if they return.
Every Sunday at 20:00 UTC the platform burns 2,500,000 WAIFU from the burn reserve plus all pending usage and marketplace burns, capped at 5,000,000 per week, with a Wednesday retry if Sunday fails. Section 07 has the record and the last transaction.
WaifuCash reduces supply in two ways: a fixed weekly program burn and usage burns from platform fees. Both are executed with the SPL burn instruction, so the total supply reported by the Solana network really falls. On 1 Nov 2026 the supply was 902,951,848 WAIFU against 1,000,000,000 at genesis: 97,048,151 WAIFU, 9.7 percent, burned on chain.
Every Sunday at 20:00 UTC the burn job destroys 2,500,000 WAIFU from the burn reserve wallet, which is funded by the Burn Reserve escrow (160M, released 10M per month). Record so far: 70M WAIFU burned by the program in 28 transactions, last run 25 Oct 2026 (2,500,604 WAIFU). The streak is not unbroken: several weeks in spring 2026 were missed because of RPC failures, and the pipeline was fixed in Aug 2026 with a Wednesday retry. A further 26.4M was burned by the team and community between Sep 2025 and Jan 2026, before the program started.

Platform fees are priced in USD and converted to WAIFU at the live price. The burned part of each: gallery like 0.00003 USD, 70 percent burned; on chain mint of a gallery piece 0.03 USD, burned in full; marketplace sale 0.667 percent of the price; challenge entry 50 percent of the fee; monthly award vote 1 WAIFU per vote. These amounts accrue in a ledger and are settled in the next weekly batch, within the 5,000,000 weekly cap. The more the gallery is used, the more is burned.
Every burn is a Solana transaction. The burn ledger on the Tokenomics page lists each one with its signature (96.4M WAIFU in 129 transactions recorded; a few early individual burns were never imported, which is why the ledger trails the chain figure by about 0.6M). The chain figure, genesis minus live supply, is authoritative and can be recomputed by anyone from the mint address.

WAIFU trades on three Raydium CPMM pools: WAIFU/SOL, WAIFU/USDC and WAIFU/XAUt0 (tokenized gold). The LP tokens of the three pools are 99.75, 99.95 and 100 percent burned, so nobody, including the project, can withdraw the pooled tokens. Burned LP does not prevent traders from draining one side by swapping. Liquidity is small: about 4,500 USD across the three pools on 1 Nov 2026, at a price of about 0.0000055 USD. Large orders move the price a lot; at that depth a 100 USD sell moves it roughly 20 percent.
The first pool, created 2 Sep 2025, pairing WAIFU with SOL at a 0.25 percent fee. About 1,820 USD of liquidity on 1 Nov 2026. LP tokens 99.75 percent burned (37,818.0 minted, 37,724.3 burned, none of the remainder in the creator wallet), verifiable on RugCheck.

All three pools are reachable through Raydium, the Jupiter aggregator and compatible Solana aggregators. Pool balances, volume and price change live and are shown on the Tokenomics page from DexScreener data. Thin liquidity is listed as a risk in section 14.
Governance is not live today. Decisions about features, pricing and the burn program are made by the team and announced on Telegram and X.
The plan, listed as Phase 5 on the roadmap, is a DAO in which staked WAIFU votes on proposals: new features, tokenomics changes, partnerships and ecosystem upgrades, with community voting on the roadmap itself.
Until that exists, this document will not describe a voting system as if it were running. The Jupiter Lock schedules, the burn ledger and the public wallets are the accountability mechanisms available today.
Security is a foundational priority for the WaifuCash platform. The system employs multiple layers of protection to safeguard user assets, data, and platform integrity. The platform undergoes recurring security reviews covering SQL injection, XSS, and other OWASP Top 10 vectors across its API endpoints and frontend pages, and findings are tracked and remediated as part of ongoing maintenance.
The roadmap has five phases: Phase 1 Foundation (token, site, quests, marketplace, security, 21 languages) is complete; Phase 2 Mobile App and AI Pipeline (Android APK v1.5.3, two anime models, level based free generations) is complete, with no iOS or Play Store listing yet; Phase 3 Gallery and Community Growth is in progress (gallery, Like to Chain, dislikes, dynamic rarity, feeds, share links and leaderboards are live; the mobile gallery, challenge rounds, monthly awards and a Discord server are not); Phase 4 On Chain NFTs and Magic Eden is planned (the mint endpoint exists, no piece has graduated, marketplace listings and on chain royalties are not started); Phase 5 Scale and DAO (app stores, DAO governance, 100M cumulative burn) is a vision.
The full roadmap page lists every deliverable with its status:
Cryptocurrency and digital assets carry inherent risks that all participants should carefully consider before engaging with the WaifuCash ecosystem or acquiring WAIFU tokens.
