Earnings disclosure
WaifuCash lets people earn WAIFU by selling AI anime art and by liking art early. This page sets out, plainly, what that involves before you spend any time or money on it.
There is no typical income
We do not publish an average or typical earnings figure, because there is no honest one to give. What a seller receives depends on whether anyone buys their art and at what price. Many published pieces never sell. Like royalties are real but, at today's prices, very small amounts. Nothing on this site is a promise or prediction of income.
It costs something to take part
- Publishing a piece to the gallery costs $0.10, paid in WAIFU.
- Each like costs about $0.00003 in WAIFU; most of it is burned.
- Generating images beyond the free daily allowance and upscaling cost small WAIFU fees.
- Selling costs 2% of the sale price. Withdrawals carry no WaifuCash fee.
All current fees are listed on the Earn page. Fees are set in US dollars and charged in WAIFU at the live price.
You are paid in a volatile token
Earnings are paid in WAIFU COIN (WAIFU), a token on Solana. Its price is set by trading in public liquidity pools, it is low and it can fall as well as rise, sometimes sharply. The dollar value of what you earn can change between the moment you earn it and the moment you withdraw or sell it. Liquidity is modest, so large amounts may be hard to sell without moving the price.
What is not live yet
- There is no creator royalty when a buyer resells your art. It is a roadmap item.
- Weekly challenges and monthly awards exist in the app but have no active prize rounds right now.
- Gallery pieces are traded inside WaifuCash; none have been minted on chain as NFTs so far.
Not financial advice
Nothing on WaifuCash is investment, tax or legal advice. Rules on crypto assets and on income from them differ by country, and it is your responsibility to follow the rules where you live, including any tax on what you earn. Only use money you can afford to lose. WaifuCash is run by a named, responsible person; see About for who that is, how to verify the token on chain and the full list of risks.
